Hearthstone concert
The Black Heritage Orchestra from Berlin, Germany, will tell the story of black music through music on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. at Hearthstone School in Sperryville. Taking the stage at 10 p.m. will be the Rude Rock Family band, combining reggae, punk, ska, dub, latin, electromca, trip hop and a bit of the danceclub. Free Clinic open
The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local branch of the Fauquier Free Clinic, operates on the first, third and fifth Wednesdays of each month at the Rappahannock County Health Department in Washington. Life Stories Workshop
A three-day introductory session will be held Oct. 17-19 taught by Julie Portman and presented by Ki Theatre.
