This year, number 37, features two spectacular properties for touring and tea in the garden at the third home on Trinity Church's House Tour and Dried Flower Sale. Piedmont Farm, home of Mr. and Mr*. Rolf Grange, is located in the glorious F. T. Valley as is Oldefield Farm, home of Mr. Job B. Morgan. The Sharp's Mountain Green is down the Harris Hollow road.
Those who attended RLEPs annual mating were treated to swinging gospel music by David "Scratch" Clanagan and the Free Spirits, and a Rappahannock County song by Lorraine Duisit. . . . After the Free Spirits warmed up the audience, several speakers said that a major issue facing RLEP today is the proposed transmissionjine from Sperryville to Culpeper Couhty that the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative wants to build. * For some this was deja vu, because RLEP was founded in 1970 to oppose a proposed power line to run from Sperryville to Front Royal. The project was defeated through strong community effort.
