the more recent Blue Moon Cafe. Gore is certain that his restaurant is here to stay.

And from the looks of it, its working. Starting at 5 p.m. when the restaurant opens its doors customers are coming in for dinner and to enjoy the 5-7 p.m. happy hour with 99 cent draft beer and free chips, salsa and buffalo wings.

Families are welcome as well, and by 7 p.m.. with dinner in full swing, several can be seen enjoying the restaurant’s fare. The Gores offer a children’s menu for $4.95. This includes a choice of a grilled cheese sandwich, cheese quesadilla, or a chicken or beef taco, any of which comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for desert.

For adults there are numerous options as well. Gore himself suggests the #1 Combo which includes a refried bean burrito, crispy beef taco and chicken enchilada with refried beans, rice, guacamole and sour cream.

“The enchiladas and the burritos here are really the best I’ve ever had. Our cook specializes in these,” said Gore.
