• On Monday, Nov. 3 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock Courthouse on Gay Street. See agenda highlights on Page A5; • Tuesday, Nov. 4 is Election Day. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.; • On Thursday, Nov. 6 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse on Gay Street; • Absentee voting is available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The last day to vote absentee for the upcoming election is Saturday, Nov. 1. The Registrar’s Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voters will need their voter card or a proper form of identification to cast an absentee ballot and on election day, Nov. 4. For further information, contact Nancy Newlin at 675-5380. • Flu shots will be given to the public at the Rappahannock County Health Department on Nov. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m., Nov. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Nov. 18 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Bring a Medicare card and adplts at high risk should bring a Medicaid card. All others will be charged $15.
