This past weekend Rebecca Burke (Mary and Johnny Hitt’s granddaughter) and Joy Beach participated in the OCHS ROTC Physical Fitness PFT Competition in Charlottesville and came in first and second place. There were a total of 80 participants, 60 boys and 20 girl cadets. There were 16 schools that showed up for the competition which is a test of the ROTC cadets’ physical endurance. Congratulations to these girls for a job well done.
