somehow sets a “bad example,” I have some advice for these people and the current school board—get a clue, folks, and quit looking a gift horse in the mouth.
If you ever take your kids to the beach, if you ever let them watch MTV, or heaven forbid watch commercials on network TV, you are certainly exposing them to more flesh than they will ever see in the calendar in question. My kids would think it was hilarious, and so would yours if you weren’t so busy trying to “protect” them.
If there is any message that this calendar “sends” to our kids it is this: your parents and neighbors will go to any lengths, even if it means looking silly in public, in order to see you get what you need for a great education. And to my way of thinking, there is no finer message, or finer example we can set.
