The Rapp girls drove down the field repeatedly and had numerous corner kicks but were unable to finish the ball. Just before the half Brittany Clatterbuck stepped up from her defensive sweeper position and rifled a shot into the comer of the goal. It \yas a beautiful and aggressive play by Brittany.
Culpeper evened the score in the second half on a penalty kick. We had a chance at a penalty kick also but the goalie made a superb stop. We were winding down to the last few minutes and the Rapp girls started pursuing the ball with renewed energy. They didn’t want this game to end in a tie.
