The editorial in the Oct. 23
edition of the Rappahannock News endorsed a specific candidate for sheriff. The paper urged its readers to vote for this candidate based on its statement that “he is being supported by some of the law enforcement people we respect the most. In their opinion, he is the best candidate. We agree.”
This is insulting to the intelligence of the voters in Rappahannock County. We need to know who these law enforcement people are so that we can judge for ourselves the credibility of their opinions.
