Amo Merritt is the Rappahannock County public school Volunteer of the Month for October.
Merritt is the local coordinator of the “Box Tbps for Education” and “Campbell’s Labels for Education” drives. Merritt gathers donations from the four collection sites (the two schools, the library, and the Country Cafe), works as a liaison between the schools and the corporate donors and has recruited a corporate sponsor (Hampton Inn in Warrenton) which will double the value of all box tops contributed.
