Flint Hill rallied for Sidney last spring when Bubby Settle and others gave the Dodson family a van so Sidney could be transported to Delaware for medical treatments.

Once again the family needs help. Though an anonymous donor has-contributed sky miles to pay for the family to fly round trip to Poland, each month-long visit could cost as much as $20,000. The family isn’t planning beyond the first visit, but if it went well, hospital officials claim, families want to bring back the children to continue the treatment.

The costs will be beyond the Dodson couple’s capacity to pay. Friends and neighbors in Rappahannock County are urged to contribute. Candace Clough and Sidney’s aunt, Amy Dodson are principals of the Sidney Dodson Cerebral Palsy Fund, at Post Office Box 343 in Flint Hill, Va. 22627. Tax deductible donations may be mailed to that address.

Anonymous donations may be sent to the Sidney Dodson Cerebral Palsy Fund do of the Rappahannock National Bank, PO Box 179, Washington, Va. 22747. Questions and ideas may be directed to Candace Clough at 540-675-2344.
