The Rappahannock County High School band achieved three first places and two overall awards at the recent Williamsburg/Virginia Beach Festivals of Music Competition.
Thirty-six band members performed for a distinguished three-panel team of judges.
The members achieved first in percussion ensemble with a rating of excellent; a first in concert band with a rating of excellent; and a first in parade with a rating of excellent.
