Music Festival’ to
be held May 29
The “Rivers and Roots Music Festival” will be held on Saturday, May 29, from noon to 8:30 p.m., in the field beside Sunnysjde Farms Famous Rest Stop at the intersection of highways 211 and 522 in Sperryville.
Featured are acclaimed folk-pop duo The Kennedys, Trapezoid cofounder Paul Reisler with vocalist Amy Speace, and other rootsy artists including Anna Wolfe, Eric Freeman, Tinsmith, Debbie Zinn & Friends, Dinah Ansley and John Hall berg, and more.
All revenues from the festival, which is sponsored by Sunnyside Farms, will support Rappahannock County music education programs. The event marks the grand reopening of The Burger Bam, featuring Sunnyside Farms’ certified organic Virginia Kobe beef burgers along with in-season, freshly prepared salads and sides.
