“Castleton Farms,” one of Rappahannock County’s most impressive and historic show places, has been sold by Mrs. Mary Hill Ingersoll to Mr. and Mrs. John W. Scott of Washington, D.C. The beautiful 410-acre estate includes a stately pre-Civil War brick mansion known as “Castle House” which sits high on a knoll and dominates the spacious lawn, the stocked pond and the modern swimming pool.
