wooden main doorway, which predates the house and came from a rectory in Philadelphia, looks out over fields, rebuilt dry stone walls, a pool, and new landscaping. This main doorway, up a flight of new steps, leads into the hall and living areas, with the kitchen and dining rooms below on the first floor, and bedrooms on the third level. The original house had fireplaces in each room, and the newest addition carries this out. Mantels are original, or period pieces. Interior shutters show off the thickness of the stone walls. Numerous paintings from area artists showcase familiar landscapes . A guest house, spacious stables, and equipment shed complete the surroundings to the rear of the house.
