Harris Hollow

“Harris Hollow House,” recently built for Roger and Jane Batchelder, in the Town of Washington, is the third house of this year’s tour. It was five years in the design phase, with the Batchelder’s son, David, working on the plans, and incorporating ideas from his parents, and inspired by the houses of Frank Lloyd Wright. In fact, the outside stucco finish is similar in color to that of Falling Waters in Pennsylvania. Inside, high ceilings, long windows overlooking the fields to the north of town, and a restrained color scheme and furnishings
