The Old Sperryville Bookstore will be hosting a book signing on Saturday, July 9 at 7 p.m.
Featured will be Dr. Joan Vernikos who will discuss and sign copies of her book, “The G-Connection: Harness Gravity and Reverse Aging.”

July 9: Bluemont Concert
Come hear our own Paul Reisler along with Howard Levy and A Thousand Questions perform on Saturday, July 9 at 7:30 p,m. for the fourth of ten Saturday evening performances. Concerts are held this year at the Old Shadow Lawn facility in Warrenton located on 70 Culpeper Street. Admission is $5 per person, $4 for Bluemont Friends and seniors, $2 for kids 12 and under. Plan to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on. In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Taylor Middle School auditorium.
July 9: Class reunion
The Rappahannock County High School graduating class of 1955 will be having their 50th class reunion on July 9 from 2-7 p.m. at the old high school auditorium on Mt. Salem Ave. in Washington.
So all you 1955 grads, mark it on your calendar and come join the group to talk over old times. We would like to have everyone and their significant other in attendance. Bring pictures or souvenirs of interest... If you know any of our teachers, ask them to come. It's our treat.

The Fauquier County Civil War Roundtable's monthly dinner meeting will be held Wednesday, July 13, at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Everyone, members and non-members are invited and welcome. Dressage Schooling
The Old Dominion Hounds Pony Club is organizing a series of Friday evening dressage schooling shows this summer at Windsor Lodge Farm, Flint Hill. The dates are July 15 and August 12. The shows will run from 4 p.m. to dusk, with food available on the show grounds. Series championship to be awarded. Remember to drink lots of fluids -- water or juice are best the day before, and the day of, the blood drive.
