a Small Business

What do you need to look at or consider when buying an existing business? What do you need to do to prepare to sell your business? How can you better position your business to raise capital?

The Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center will present two Vz day sessions focused on these questions in Warrenton on July 19th. These sessions are also being offered on July 18th in Middletown.

The first Vz day session will focus on issues with “Buying or Selling a Small Business”. The second Vz day session will address “Issues in Financing a Business”. The discussion will cover developing a business plan designed to raise capital, legal documents required, credit issues, finance programs available, credit scoring, debt and/or equity financing and how to pre-approve a business for a commercial loan.
