At their June 7 board meeting, the county supervisors took two steps aimed at protecting Rappahannock s rural agricultural heritage. By unanimous vote, the supervisors adopted the county's first comprehensive plan, a plan which puts heavy emphasis on preserving farming and farm land from the pressures of urban sprawl.
