Mrs. Fannie Jackson of Sperryville went to the University Hospital Friday, July 1 for sl check up. She was accompanied by Mrs. Roberta Russell and Reuben Aylor. Mrs. Nellie Andes of Sperryville was also a recent patient at the hospital for a check up. Castleton firemen opened their annual fund raising carnival last night on the grounds next to the fire house, and the event will continue through Saturday night, July 10. A variety of games, food, entertainment and fun await carnival goers, as well as a large selection of prizes which will be given away. Among prizes offered are a portable TV, garden tiller, lawn mower. Sperryville News
