On Tuesday, the Virginia High School League denied an athletic redistricting request to place Rappahannock County High School in the Shenandoah District.
The league’s Redistricting and Reclassification Committee voted 12-0 to turn down the request made in midDecember by Rappahannock high school principal Robyn Puryear and athletic director Bob Czekqj.
