David Pendleton Williams, 96, of Boyce Va., died on Sept. 6 at Winchester Medical Center.

He was bom Aug. 30, 1912, to the late Pendleton and Marie Williams of Rappahannock County.

Mr. Williams was a farmer for over 70 years. He epjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by a son, James C. Williams of Hume, four daughters, Maddie Brown of Alexandria, Betty Thomas, Rev. Mamie Bridgett both of Boyce, Va., and Evelyn Williams of Aldie, Va.

Additional survivors include 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, two great-great -grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Turner Williams, a son, Pendleton Williams, a daughter, Alice Robinson as well as four brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2932 Atoka Road, Rectortown, Va.
