#TCN: And a tollow up to that one: Why is it that a relatively now track like Colonial Downs seems to have great success with weekly jump races, much like Saratoga? Why does it succeed while other obvious tracks to host chasers — Delaware Park, for one — don't invite us back for “the Infield Sport"?

#LR: A great number of people that race at Colonial Downs are the same people from Virginia that support steeplechasing. At Saratoga, jump races have long been a part of the tradition of the sport of racing. We have added Monmouth Park back, thanks to the track and horsemen in New Jersey, and hope to expand in '09.
