For his part, Gregg was not embarrassed to be the sole detractor from what turned into an evening of cheers from field sport supporters.
“I feel like hunters are putting a higher value on their property, their hound” Gregg said, “than my property, my home. That’s not right. I should have the right to keep you, and your dogs, off my property. That’s all I’m saying. I'm a hunter. It’s not that at all. I just don't like having trespassers all over my place saying they’re looking for a dog when I know that’s not true.”
