The spaghetti lunch fundraiser held at the Washington Baptist Church on Sept. 7 was a success.
The money that was raised went for the youth of the church who will be attending the Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center in Lynchburg on Oct. 10-12. There will be some 600 young persons from around the state in attendance at this event celebrating their faith.
The Rev. Steve Scoggin and his wife, Nancy, will be with the Washington Baptist Church for its annual Homecoming Day on Oct. 5.
