Children’s Bible Club on Wednesdays
Five years ago a Bible memorization program called Kids’ Community Bible Club was begun by Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and Washington Baptist Church for the area children. Now Flint Hill United Methodist Church also is sponsoring this activity Last year the program had an enrollment of 13 children with an average attendance of 12. Many children received special permission to take the school bus to our site. The program begins at 3:45 p. m. and ends at 5 p. m., each Wednesday There is no cost. Children in grades one to six may attend. Activities include creative arts, games, music and refreshments. Children are rewarded upon learning certain scripture verses with bonus points which they then can use to purchase Christian related prizes. Included in their memorization are the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Beatitudes, Books of the Bible, the. Twelve Disciples and other Bible related material.
