Skyline Drive to be resurfaced
Shenandoah National Park has contracted to resurface 10 miles of Skyline Drive.
Work, is expected to begin during the week of September 15. The work will entail chip sealing the following areas on Sky line Drive: MP 37 to MP 47 in the Central District.
During the project Skyline Drive will remain open, but one lane of traffic will be closed while the contractor is working, with expected delays of less than 15 minutes. Work will take place Monday through Friday. All lanes of traffic will be open during weekends and federal holidays.
