Kenny did a lot of thinkins about his experience and how to respond to it in the months to follow. “The Prison Within”' is the result of his captivity as an artist.
Ironically, Kenny’s artwork over the years has focused on the concepts of transcendence, lightness, and freedom, using images of birds and flight to make reference to themes of captivity gravity and bondage.
