Pnoto t)y Marcy Lauben DEDICATION: The Wakefield Country Day School varsity soccer team dedicated its home match against Notre Dame Academy Oct. 7 to Logan McKiernan who died three days earlier in an auto accident. McKiernan attended WCDS from sixth through eighth grades. Team members wore black tape on their socks, stood in a circle with the referees, coaches, and opposing team in the center of the field at the beginning of the game to make the dedication, and then, upon winning 2-1, came together as a group and gave a single cheer: "Logan!”
