• Annual Draw-down Dinner and Raffle hosted by the Rappahannock Lions Club, The Link, Sperryville. Up to 300 people attend this fun evening featuring dinner, music, dancing, various raffles and the exciting Draw-Down offering a grand prize of $5,000. Tickets, which provide dinner for two. open bar, and an entry in the $5,000 drawing, cost $150, available from Rick or Kaye Kohler, at (540) 675-1373. Social hour, 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. This is the Lions biggest annual fund raiser to support its community projects.

Sunday, Nov. 15

Annual Chili Cook-Off and Bluegrass Festival of the 4-H Livestock Club, 1 - 5 p. m.. at Rappahannock County High School. Adult tickets $10 in advance; $12 at the door; students $5 ; kids under 5 years, free. Participants will enjoy hearing music from various bluegrass musicians, sample chili from multiple chili cook-off contestants and collect holiday gifts at the silent auction.
