is seeking qualified applicants for a fulltime Emergency Services Clinician to work on a multi-disciplinary 24 hour MH/SA Emergency Services Team. Thorough knowledge of, and experience in, MH and SA diagnosis and crisis intervention/ stabilization modalities essential. Duties involve telephone and face to face client interactions at the Mental Health Center and various sites within Loudoun County, and includes working closely with courts, law enforcement, other agencies. After hours work is conducted from employee's home and designated sites within Loudoun County. Work schedule includes some overnight and weekend hours. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to Bachelor s degree in Social Work. Psychology, Counseling, or Nursing, and minimum of three years professional experience in mental health and/ or substance abuse treatment. Must have access to telephone land line at home and must be able to respond to emergency room, in Loudoun County, within 30 minutes. Highly prefer Master's degree and Virginia clinical licensure as a professional counselor, clinical social worker, or clinical psychologist, or ability to obtain licensure, with a minimum of one year professional experience in mental tiealth and/or substance abuse treatment. Bt-lingual Spanish highly desirable. Employment is contingent upon successful completion ol criminal background check, driving record check, and TB test. Must have a valid driver's license.
