Motorola have agreed that the extra 70 feet in height will allow much better service and communications for emergency service and sheriffs office personnel.
“We have some emergency service personnel who are currently missing calls because they aren’t able to receive the alert page and they don’t know there is an emergency requiring a response until well into the emergency” said Burke.
In a time when trained emergency service volunteers are in shorter supply than years ago we really can’t afford to have a system that isn’t fully alerting the maximum number of responders in the time of an emergency when someone’s life is at stake, said Burke
