Pickin’ Party
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary would like to thank everyone who has supported the Pickin’ Parties for the last four years. It has become increasingly difficult to get bands on a regular basis because so many organizations are now holding Pickin’ Parties in the region. Therefore, the auxiliary has decided to cancel the monthly events and, instead, hold a spring and fall “Battle of the Bands.” You will be notified of the spring event so that you can "save the date.”

Some 25 photography students with Blue Ridge Photography filled our hills and dales and our restaurants last weekend. They were last seen on assignment, each one carrying a large winter kale, creating tableaux throughout Main Street.
