Pursuant to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15 2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals for Rappahannock County. Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at seven-thirty in the evening in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, m order to consider the following application:
SU #09-09-01 Jett Green, owner of the property situated at 11755 Lee Highway, Sperryville (1.00 acre, tax Map 37, Parcel 23A, zoned HC-Highway Commercial, Piedmont District), desires a Special Use permit to change the existing building, formerly used as an office, into a single-family dwelling. Use allowed pursuant to Code Section 170-36A of the Rappahannock County Code
No applicant or other party in interest, and no attorney for an applicant or party in interest, shall initiate a contact with a member of the BZA for the purpose of conducting a private discussion, in person or by telephone, concerning the merits of any application, appeal, or other matter pending before the BZA. No member of the BZA shall participate in any such private discussion. Site visits or similar contacts initiated by BZA members shall not constitute such e* parte contacts
A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office n Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8'30am to 4.30pm. Said application will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at ’heir regular meeting on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at sevenfhirty in the evening at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any. The above-named applicant, adiacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Zoning Appeals, co PO.
