It is with growing dismay that I have w atched our local Board of Supervisors’ electoral race deteriorate into partisan politics.
Local races in Rappahannock County have, to my recollection, been conducted with the genteel understanding that our county elections are tacitly non-partisan without any need for undue sectarian pressure and/or influence from either side of the political party spectrum
It is truly a shame that a “newcomer” of such recent vintage and so little grasp, feels the need to change our Rappahannock ways bv endorsing himself in his capacity as chairman of the Rappahannock Republican Party in a mail campaign
