AVFD Fund Drive
Nets $500 First Week

Treasurer L. B. Stuart reports that 36 donors had sent in contributions as of April 7, for a total of $559, in response to an appeal by mail. *
Fire department members are planning to follow up the letters with a visit by the fire truck itself, to ask for funds. The old fire truck will clearly show the need for new equipment.- ~ '
