There will be a big talent show land spaghetti supper at the Carver High School gym, Friday night, April 16 at 8 p.m. This program is being given for the benefit of the Carver Band and sponsored by the Band Sponsors Club. School bus will run.
The Cake Contest was a great success which was held at Pine Knot Inn on Saturday night. Mr. Lewis Carter sold 60 tickets, Mrs. Margaret Hunter sold 54 tickets, Mrs. Gladys Timbers sold 40, and Mrs. Mable Brent, 15 tickets. The proceeds went for the Rappahannock Fire Company. The cake was won by Mrs.^ Hattie Richardson. The ticket was’ sold by Mrs. Margaret Hunter. The cake was baked by Mrs. Lewis Carter.
Rev. L. M. Carroll, pastor of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Speiryville and the choir will render services at Shiloh, Woodville Church, April 15 -at 8 p.m.
