Wins High Honor's
In District Show
The Rappahannock Garden Club tied with the Culpeper Garden Club for the winding of blue ribbon in Saturday's . District Garden Oub Flower Show. Fitting the season’s lovely awakeness, the show had as its theme “Spring Song,”
Mrs. R. V. Snead won tri-color for her arrangement in class, “Hymn of Praise," a line arrangement of flowering branches, other material permitted for Recent. This was the outstanding arrangement of the show; and Mrs. Snead was awarded a lovely ' brass nourisher. Mrs. J. G. Revercomb won first in “Song of the? _Wind," all green arrangement with emphasis on rythmn.
Mrs L. J. Turner won first class: “Calm, Cool and, Collected,” arrangement in all white. -
Mrs. George H. Davis Jr. and Mrs. R. V. Snead won second honor, class, “A Sacred Duet” This was an invitation class for all clubs in Shenandoah District
