Howard Mitchell, completing, his fifth season as conductor of the orchestra, will conduct all our concerts. ’ '.; For the presentation of the Beethoven Nmth Symphony, highlight of the last “Wednesday at the Symphony” in Constitution Hall and the final “Golden Afternoon” matinee at Lisner Auditorium—Wednesday, April 14 at 8:30 p.m. and Thursday, April 15, at 2:45 p.m.—Dean Warner Lawson will direct the Howard University Choir. Conductor ..Mitchell and Dean Lawson have selected the MacFarren translation of Sehiller's Ode to Joy K as the text for chorus and soloists.
