Mrs. Annie Gore Bruce, who is recovering from effects of a fall at Jackson Hill sometime ago, returned to the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal on Friday for a check up. She was accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Lawton Blankenbaker with whom she went to Madison for, further recuperation in the home of the Blankenbakers.

Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett was a dinner guest on Sunday of her sister, Mrs. Wade H. Massie and.Mr* Massie.

Mr. and Mrs. Aylette H. Buckner1 were hosts at a dinner party on Thursday evening at their home in the F. T. Valley. Those invited were Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Turner, Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Mr. and Mrs. John Davis, Mrs. William Fletcher and Mrs. Marie Hite.
