Few people realize the need ind value of a community loan -loset until illness strikes ind the acute need of equipment arises. For several years Miss Ruby Jenkins of Washington has seen working to establish a immunity loan closet in Rap. jahannock County and to date 5he has secured a wheel chair vhich has been most used and iseful, two bed trays and two jed pans. It is hoped that a lospital bed can be added soon. The closet is located on the second floor of the Washingion Cash Store and Mrs. C.E. 3iles is in charge of lending :he equipment and keeping records* on it. There is no :harge for the use of these terns. Anyone who is need of equipment may contactors. A few of the many items that could be added to the closet are canes, crutches, ice caps hot water bottles, heatingpad^ back rest, and thermometers.
