Farm Storage Facilities ’? Do you have enough grain storage on your farm? Feel you can’t afford it at this time, then see us. Loans are made to cover $5% of the outof-pocket cost to the farm, not to exceed 50 cents per bushel capacity of the structure. Loans are repayable over a period of 4 years and bear 4% interest on the unpaid balance. Need a dryer? A loan will coyer 85% of cost of equipment repayable over a 3-year period and bear 4% interest. Extra profit you receive from grain stored on the farm will usually amount to enough to pay for the facilities. Come in and discuss this with us.
Livestock Feed Program Rappahannock farmers purchased 47,000 bushels of corn through this program. Farmers are being sent a letter asking if all corn was used by June 15. We would appreciate it if you would return them as soon as Dossihle.
Wool Program Incentive payments are extra money from wool and unshorn lamb sales. The wool pool for Rappahannock County will be held at Culpeper Farmers Coop., Inc., on June 16, 1964 from 8:00 a. m. until 12:00 noon. We will be there to sign you up for your wool Incentive payment, please don’t forget us.
