Mrs. David St ember of Jamaica, N. Y„ who is spend ing some time at the home of Miss Lottie Burton, was the weekend guest of her sister, Mrs. Kent Woolfolk in Louisa Dr. and Mrs. Howard Berger returned to their home Clairmonte early this week after spending several days in South Carolina. D. D. Miller was in McLean Sunday and was accompanied home by Mrs. Miller who spent last week visiting her son D. D. Miller, Jr. and family. C. J. Miller and Thomas Williams, H. S. Barksdale of Flint Hill, D. Lyle Miller, Jr. and C. E. Johnson, Jr. of Sperryville were among those attending the annual dinner of Group 3, Virginia Bankers Association held Saturday at Skyland.General and Mrs. James S. Willis were overnight guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect enroute to their home in Macon Ga. after visiting their son and daughter-in-iaw, Capt. and Mrs. J. S. Willis, Jr. and family at Latham, N. Y. Dr. and Mrs. John Turner and infant son of Norfolk arrived Sunday for a week’s visit with Dr. Turner’s mother, Mrs. L. J. Turner. Miss Carolyn Brock spent two days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brock after finishing the school year at George Washington University. She returned to Washington, D. C. where she* is employed for the summer.
