SQUIRREL SEASON AND BAG LIMIT: West of the Blue Ridge Mountains end in Amherst County west of U.S. Route 29 and Nelson Connty west of Route 151, it shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from the first Monday in November through January Si, and east of the Blue Ridge Mountains (in Amherst County east M U.S. Route 29 only and in NelSdn County east of Route 151 only), it shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from the third Monday in November through January 31, with the following exceptions:
(a) In the counties of Accomack, Amherst, Bedford, Campbell, Culpeper, Fairfax (except that section closed to all hunting), Fauquier (except within the confines of the Quantico Marine Reservation), Halifax, Isle of Wight, Loudoun, Nansemond, Nelson, Northampton, Prince William, Rappahannock and city of Chesapeake, it shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from October 1 through October 14 and from the third Monday in November through January 31.
(b) In the County of Madison it shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from September 1 through September 15 and from the third Monday in November through January 31.
(c) In the counties of Clarke, Craig, Frederick, Page, Roanoke, Rockingham, Shenandoah and Warren, it shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from October 1 through October 14 and from the first Monday in November through January 31.
(d) In the counties of Bland, Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Montgomery, Pulaski, Russell, Smyth, Tasewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe, it shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from September 15 through September 30 and from the first Monday in November through January 31.
(e) In the county of Pittsylvania, it shall be lawful to hunt squirrel from September 15 through October 14 and from the third Monday in November through. January 31. \ BAG L|MIT r* 6/ squirrels a May, 75 a license year.
The foregoing Regulations, as amended, shall become effective July 1, 1964.
