Mr. and Mrs. Danny Campbell of Front Royal accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Charles A.-Jenkins and daughter Linda to Colonial Beach Sunday for the day. Miss Peggy Palmer spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B, Palmer after completing the teaching year at Carter Glass school in Lynchburg. Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Armel and Billy and Susie Estes attended an all-day Memorial Service at Macedonia Methodist Church Sunday in Winchester.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wood of Tuxedo, Maryland were the week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stant Weaver. Saturday night Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Weaver and Mrs. Ashby Wayland visited Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Wayland at the Butler Nursing Home in Culpeper. J. Stant Weaver has been making trips this week to Winchester Memorial Hospital for x-rays and treatment.4 Mrs. Oscar Lindgren’s horse “Hasso", ridden by David Evans, took a third ribbon in a field of 44 Saturday at the Blue Ridge Hunt Horse Show at Millwood. Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr. accompanied her mother, Mrs. Thomas Howie of Staunton to Spartansburg, S. C. on Saturday where they were the guests of Mrs. Lea’s uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Carr.
