Club Sets Plan. Meet
All women in the Chester Gap area are invited to a meeting on June 18 to discuss the possibility of organizing a home demonstration club in Chester Gap. The meeting will be held in the Chester Gap Fire Hall at 7:30 p.m. on the 18th of June. At this meeting the home demonstration agent will explain the purposes of the home demonstration club, what activities are offered, the organizational set-up of the club in relation to the state and national organization, and what club membership will mean to the members. At this introduction and a question and answer period, the ladies will then decide whether they want to organize a club. If it is decided to organize a club an election of office club

Miss Wood To Tour Europe
Miss Mary Miller Wood of Washington will leave by Jet from Dulles Airport on June 19 for a European trip. Miss Wood, who teaches third grade at Sperryville Elementary School will first visit friends in France and then travel in Switzerland and the Scandinavian countries. The last five weeks will be spent in England Scotland, Ireland and Wales where sne will visit former exchange teachers, returning home on August 24. Miss Wood was an Exchange Teacher in 1954-55 to Vancouver, British Columbia.
