the Shenandoah Valley. The other is near the 6ig Meadowfe Campground and winds through meadow, swamp, and forest. Guide booklets which explain interesting features along the way may be purchased from a dispenser box at the beginning of each trail. Dark Hollow Falls hike is also being made into a selfguiding trail. It will have pictures and texts in place that explain interesting natural phenomena seen along the trail side. An illustrated introduction to Park features is found at the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center, 4.6 miles south of the Front Royal Entrance Station. Exhibits on the Park's history wildlife and geology are found here and a short automatic color slide program tells visitors what they may see and do in Shenandoah National Park. Copies of the Visitor Activities program which describes these activities may be obtained at any Park entrance station, information desk, or concession facility, or by writing-to the Superintendent, Shenanaoah National Park, Luray, Virginia. The public is cordially invited to take part in these activities, for which th6re is no charge.
