Castleton Farms
“Castleton Farms,” one of Rappahannock County’s most beautiful an d distinguished estates, has been purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Homer E. Henry of Falls Church, who plan to make it their permanent home. The historic property, consisting of 410 acres and located at Castleton, was sold to the Henrys by Mr. and Mrs John W. Scott of Washington, D. C., who bought it about one year ago from Mrs. Mary Hill Ingersoll. Both sales were handled by Edward A. Harris and Associates of Huntly. Mr. Harris explained that the Scotts decided to sell the farm because it was located a little too far out for their purposes.
