Special Program at
Luray Singing Tower
A special program will be presented Sunday, July 25 at the Luray Singing Tower, Luray, Va., beginning at 7;30 p.m. sharp. An event unique in musical annals will take place at this time, when a carillon recital will be presented by Charles T. Chapman, Carillonneur, and will consist of premiere performances of seven selections written especially for this instrument and occasion. This will be followed by Sun set Vespers at 8; 15 p.m., at which time the Rev. Lynn J. Radcliffe, nationally known preacher, will be principal speaker. He has spoken in leading pulpits, national assemblies, and universities, as well as in a dozen countries overseas.
He is a graduate of Wesbyan University, Boston University and has received D. D. Degree from both institutions. He has written several widely acclaimed books. Guest choral group for the Vesper Service will be the Choir of the First Baptist Church, Washington, D. C., directed by Charles M. Marga son. Adding interest to the recital will be the presence of five composers whose works are
