For sure cattlemen of organized feeder sale groups have been carrying the Virginia Beef Cattle Promotion and Legislative (National) Burden. Their results having been shared equally all feeder producers no matter whether they sold privately or through local auctions. Also the Feeder Calf Sales through their 50(5 per calf promotions have benefited the dairyman’s value of cull cows by helping to block competitive beef imports.
