Arts & Crafts Has
Successful Exhibit
The Arts and Crafts Committee met on October 25 with the main business being discussion of the exhibit held at the Rappahannock Library du> Lng the week-end. A total of 29 exhibitors had over 90 articles on display. In addition articles were displayed from The Village Shop and the Sutler’s Cabin with articles For sale by the Scrabble Shop, Mrs. Launah Smith, Mrs. Cotcon Miller and Mrs. Helen Kilby. The Committee was pleased that over 300 visitors viewed the display during the week-end. The committee will hold only one meeting in November with Che topic being “Christmas Novelties." Plan to attend and bring your -ideas of Christmas. gifts, or novelties to share with the group on November 15 at the Cab-Inn in Sperryville at 10 a. rri. Coming up at the first of Che year the group will begin working with needlepoint. Any one interested in learning or improving their needlepoint plan to attend.
Game Warden
Applicants Sought
Qualified applicants for Game Warden Trainee positions are again being sought by the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries co fill assignments in various parts of the state. Applicants must be High School graduates between 21 and 34 years of age with at least 5 years resf dence in Virginia. Compelte qualifications and application forms may be obtained at local offices of the Virginia Employment Commissior or from Game Commission or State Division of Personnel offices in Richmond. The dead line for filing applications will be 5:00'p.m., November 18, 1966.
